Science & Engineering Fair
The Science & Engineering Fair takes place every year between the months of November and February. In grades 4-6, your participation is required as it will be part of your grade. It is a wonderful opportunity to find an answer to that question that has been nagging you for a while. Using the Scientific Method, you will research and find conclusions to a problem/question you're interested in. You will then create your own hypothesis stating what you think will happen in your own experiment and why.
If you are in 5th or 6th grade, you may also choose to complete an engineering project. If so, you'll be asked to invent something or to improve an existing product. The process is very different from the scientific method, but important nevertheless.
